Edexcel GCSE German

At GCSE we study vocabulary from six themes:

  • My personal world
  • Lifestyle and wellbeing
  • My neighbourhood
  • Media and technology
  • Studying and my future
  • Travel and tourism

We build on the strong grammar base from key stage 3, and extend students’ use of tenses and complex linguistic structures, such as subordinate clauses with a range of conjunctions and infinitive constructions.
All units are enriched by exam techniques and tasks as well as success criteria that will ensure the continuous enhancement of students’ exam practice and knowledge to be successful at their GCSE exam.
