Intent:

Growing up in a diverse society, students must learn how to build relationships with those whose viewpoints and values differ from their own. Using the Cornwall agreed syllabus for RE as the starting point, Religion and Ethics, and GCSE Religious Studies at Saltash aim to equip students with the ability to deal with issues arising not just in school, but also in their neighbourhood and future workplace. At the same time, we aim to help develop the confidence students need in order to articulate what they see as their place within this society.
