Snow White

The last week of June saw over 40 students from and our partner primary schools come together to produce ‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.’ The performance itself was the product of four months of hard work from the new company made up of Year 5, 6, 7 and 8 students. The first half saw the company show off their talents in a showcase ranging from group dances to a recorder solo, from solo songs to poetry. The first half culminated with the full company singing Gary Barlow’s Sing (a true celebration of collaboration).

The second half then told Roald Dahl’s version of the popular Snow White. In fact the dwarfs were jockeys who had squandered all their money on betting horses until Snow White stole a magic mirror from the greedy King and Queen.

All the cast were excellent with notable performances from Tiegan Aire and Emily Horsham to name just two.

Plans are already being made for next year’s junior production.
