welcomes international visitors

Croatian Teachers

Students and Staff at were very pleased to welcome 9 teachers from Croatia to the school on Wednesday 9th October.  Organised as part of a British Council project to encourage the development of international links the teachers were keen to find out more about the reputation has for the innovative use of new technologies.

Deputy headteacher, Dan Buckley, greeted the visitors and gave a background to the school’s approach to learning and teaching before handing them over to student representatives to lead a tour of the school.  Mr Buckley commented: ‘Well done to Max Frost, George Seymour and George Lambert-Gorwyn from 8RT who impressed our visitors with their in-depth questions about the Croatian education system whilst conducting the tour.’ has recently acquired Full International School status for a further three years from 2013-16, following the submission of a portfolio of evidence by International Coordinator – Music Teacher, Nicola Silvester.
