Parent Community Café

To further support parents and carers, we are starting a new project every Thursday. Running in the 6th Form Common Room, parents can simply drop in if they have a question, suggestion or concern they’d like to raise. Staffed by our Pastoral Support Assistants, parents can talk in a confidential and safe environment, whilst enjoying a cup of tea. We’d love to see you there, 3:15pm-4:15pm every Thursday starting this week.

How to talk to your child about………..

In association with the Safer Saltash initiative, we are working closely with the Police and YZUP to enhance our drugs education offer. Part of this programme includes a presentation to parents about a current community wide issue around drugs. This session will be led by workers from YZUP who can offer advice and guidance on how you can talk to your child about drugs, and how they can avoid situations should they ever come into contact with others using drugs in the community. If you would like to come along to this session on Monday 19th November at 5pm, please contact Mr Oakes on We hope to run future events around mental health and other relevant issues. If you have any suggestions on sessions you might like to be added to this programme, please get in touch. We look forward to seeing you there.
