Uniform consultation result announcement

Following consultation with all of our key stakeholders, saltash.net community school is delighted to announce the results of our uniform review.

It has been agreed that the new school uniform with effect from September 2017 will be ‘Option 2’; which consists of a pale blue shirt, tailored black trousers/knee length black skirt, black shoes, blazer and tie (jumper optional).

The school consulted with parents, students, staff members, the local community, and our partner primaries to reach this decision. With over a thousand people taking part in this survey, an overwhelming 68% chose this option!

There is no expectation for any student within the current school community to change their uniform, except that tailored school trousers or skirts and black shoes (canvas shoes and trainers are not permitted) will be a requirement for all from September 2017.  Hoodies will no longer be permitted for Year 11s.

We would like to thank all those who took part in this consultation and very much look forward to a new ‘SMARTer’ school community.
