We,’s Parent Teacher Association (PTA), believe that successful education depends upon a working partnership between students, staff, parents and the wider community. We like to think that all parents of students at are automatic members and offer a warm welcome to anyone who wishes to help fundraise or offer assistance at any of our events.

The PTA is being relaunched, building on the work done in recent times by Friends of Saltash, which organised community events, ran fundraising activities and provided refreshments at school events. The PTA will continue this work, and so would welcome any fundraising ideas.

In recent years, funds have been raised for a variety of things for, most recently the sound system in the school hall and a canopy in the Year 8 playground, helping the school to purchase their first school minibus and assisting the school to achieve the £50,000 sponsorship required to seek Specialist School Status.

The PTA also facilitate events and always need volunteers to ensure things run smoothly. With the relaunch, we have big plans for the future and the PTA leader, Lesley Porch, would be delighted to hear from anyone regarding attending meetings or taking part in fundraising for the school. You can email Lesley at, or PTA representative Debi West at

More information about the PTA’s work will be posted on our social media, which can be found on Facebook here, and Twitter here.
