City College: Open Days, Careers Support & Student Competition

Virtual Open Day for University-level Courses

Following the success of their virtual open day for 16-18 year olds, City College are now planning a second online event focusing on their university-level provision. The event will be held on Saturday 6 June, via Zoom. Potential students can book to attend various 45 minute course-specific sessions, during which they will hear from a panel of speakers (including employers and alumni), and have the opportunity to ask any questions they may have about accessing university-level courses at the College.

(City College have been very mindful of safeguarding in their planning regarding the use of Zoom and use an upgraded package that enables them to password protect theses sessions to ensure they are as secure as possible).

Careers Guidance Interviews

City College are fortunate to have a team of Careers Advisors working remotely and  they would like to support you, by offering 30 minute telephone guidance interviews.

As the College is offering applicants unconditional places on a course of their choice for September, they hope that their careers service will benefit students who are intending to leave school, but require assistance in exploring their options.

If you think you would benefit from this impartial careers service, please e-mail careers@cityplym.ac.uk for a call back.
