It was a good results day for both GCSE and vocational students at saltash.net community school on 23rd August 2012. With a significant number of results still to be verified, early indications are that 85% of the cohort have achieved at least 5A*-C GCSEs or equivalents.

Outstanding individual results were achieved by many students including Lily Blake, Oliver Gilford, Grace Sutton, Robert Wilkinson, Lily Hemmett (who also secured an A grade in AS Maths), Ellie Kearns, Eloise Spencer, Alex Wright, Josie Leigh Webb, Jack Screech, Tasha Foot, Rebecca Harrington, Ciaran Jones, Sophie Stephens, Chloe Walker, Joanna Hutchings, James Herbert and Emily Jones. Between them they secured 138 A* and A grades representing a huge amount of hard work and effort.

Commenting on the successes this year, Headteacher, Isobel Bryce said, “In a totally inclusive school we are extremely proud of all of our students. In addition to congratulating our GCSE and vocational pathway students I would like to say well done to the four Year 11 students who were in our Trematon Unit Area Resource Base – Ben Hall, Emily Ede, Tommy Tucker and Ellis Tomlinson who have all gained qualifications whilst attending saltash.net.’
