FSM Vouchers – update

Dear All,

As our care package scheme has now come to an end, we would like to thank you all for sending back in your reply slips for the Summer FSM voucher scheme. Due to the large number of orders, we were, unfortunately, unable to process the final order online, meaning that the vouchers cannot be emailed directly to you. Despite numerous contacts with the team at Edenred, we were concerned we would run out of time, so we have had to opt for a different approach. The guidelines for the Summer vouchers is also slightly different to the system we have been used to: we’re not allowed to issue weekly vouchers any more.

To ensure our families aren’t left without, we have ordered all of the vouchers and printed them. These are available to collect from the school Main Reception from this afternoon until we close on Thursday. The last time you will be able to collect your vouchers will be Thursday 23rd July at 12pm, when the school will close for the Summer. We apologise for the short time span for collection but we were unable to get a required response from Edenred any sooner.

The vouchers had to be split into two and the amount on each voucher equates to how many eligible children are in your household. For example:

A household with a single eligible child will get two vouchers. One for £45 (valid from 20/07 to 19/08) and one for £60 (valid from 10/08 to 09/09). A total of £105 (7 lots of £15)

A household with two eligible children will get two vouchers. One for £90 (valid from 20/07 to 19/08) and one for £120 (valid from 10/08 to 09/09). A total of £210 (7 lots of £30)

A household with three eligible children will get two vouchers. One for £135 (valid from 20/07 to 19/08) and one for £180 (valid from 10/08 to 09/09). A total of £315 (7 lots of £45)

When you collect your vouchers, you will also receive a parent/carer user guide, for those who haven’t used the vouchers before. It’s important to note, that you need to convert your eCode into a supermarket voucher – you can’t just use your eCode in the shop. The guidance will talk you through how you do this.

School will be shut from Friday 24th July and our switchboard will be closed. If you have any difficulties with the vouchers, please contact Edenred direct.

We’re also pleased to confirm the arrangements with The Core in Saltash, who are providing frozen family meals on a weekly basis. If you would like to receive this provision, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with Charlotte at The Core on 07837 610274. We have already confirmed numbers with Charlotte if you have indicated that you would like to receive this on your reply slips. It’s not too late though.

We hope you all have an enjoyable Summer.

Take care,

Mr Oakes
